Wedge sockets provide a connection between the steel wire rope and the supporting element to which the rope is to be attached. The rope is prevented from falling out by means of a wedge, which ensures a firm and stable connection, while the clips prevents the rope from being pulled out of the socket body due to the mass of the suspended load.
