The basic parts of single-girder bridge cranes are: the main girder, or main beam, the driven hoist that moves along the main girder and the end carriages that move along the runway rail. Depending on the place of installation and the way of using the crane, single-girder bridge cranes are divided into: electric single-girder bridge cranes, manual single-girder bridge cranes, hanging single-girder bridge cranes and light single-girder bridge cranes.
