TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of investor, Mick Ltd., a project was made for the installation of a double-girder bridge crane with a load capacity of 2 x 3,2 t, a bridge span of 14,99 m, and a lifting height of approx. 7 m. Crane is intalled in investor halls in Donji Stupnik near Zagreb. The warehouse is intended for the reception, storage and shipment of steel materials, such as: bundles of steel pipes and profiles, sheets of sheets and coils of sheets (coils).

All working movements of the crane: lowering / raising the load, driving the bridge and the driving hoist, are electrically driven. The crane is equipped with a certificated electronic scale for weighing loads lifted by electromagnets with the possibility of weighing loads in the range from 40 to 4000 kg.

The crane is controlled via a remote radio control unit, and as a backup control in case of emergency, a suspended control button with reduced voltage, which is connected via a connector on the electrical cabinet of the crane.

The crane basically consists of the following parts:

  • steel crane structures,
  • two rope hoists with an individual nominal capacity of 3.2 t,
  • electronic scale,
  • drive mechanisms for driving the bridge,
  • electrical equipment to power the crane device and control it.

For the manipulation of pipes and rod material, a lifting beam with electromagnets with a load capacity of 3 t is hung on the crane hoists.

The crane is equipped with an electronic scale that allows the crane operator to weigh the cargo that is transported during each individual operation when receiving and issuing goods.

Given the conditions and frequency of operation, the crane is classified in III. operating class, which corresponds approximately to group M6 according to ISO 4301/1 (or group 3m according to FEM 1.001), for mechanisms.

The electrical equipment of the driving hoists consists of:

  • electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
  • electric motors for driving a hoists,
  • control cabinet for power supply and crane control,
  • control cabinet for power supply and drive control of the hoists,
  • electromagnetic beam and electronic scales,
  • brake resistors for motor drives on the hoists,
  • spring cable drum for powering the electromagnetic beam,
  • power and control cables on the hoists.

The electronic scale, which consists of:

  • four measuring probes installed between the lower and upper supporting frame of the hoists,
  • measuring cabinet with measuring instrument IMK-TR, class (III),
  • modules for two-way wireless data transfer to a dot matrix printer that is placed in a convenient place in the hall,
  • cable installation on the hoists.
