TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of the investor Elcon Geraetebau Ltd., a project of two suspended single-girder bridge cranes was made.

 

The maximum load capacity of the cranes is 2,5 t, the bridge span of both cranes is 7,3 m, and the maximum lifting height of the cranes is 3,66 m. The cranes are mounted on a crane tracks in the company's production hall in Rijeka.

 

All working movements of both cranes: bridge driving, hoist driving and lifting/lowering of cargo are performed in two speeds, using a frequency converter, and they are controlled by a suspended control button with reduced voltage.

 

Single-girder bridge cranes consist of:

  • steel structure, consisting of:
    • main crane main girders manufactured from HEA profile,
    • end carriages manufactured from HEA profiles,
  • driving hoists with a load capacity of 2,5 t each,
  • electrical equipment installed on both cranes.

 

The electrical equipment of each crane consists of:

  • electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
  • electric motor with brake for driving a hoist,
  • two electric motors with brakes for driving the bridge,
  • control cabinet,
  • limit switches for switching off the lift drive, the hoist drive drive and the bridge drive drive,
  • suspended control button with reduced voltage,
  • main switches, and
  • power and control cables within the crane itself.

 

In addition to the above electrical equipment, both cranes are equipped with photoelectric sensors that turn off the drive of the bridge in order to prevent collisions of cranes.
