TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
For the needs of investor, company HEP - proizvodnja Ltd., a project of a manual hanging bridge crane was made, and it was manufactured and installed in the entrance device of the Valići dam, which is part of the HPP Rijeka system. The maximum load capacity of the crane is 5 t, and the span of the bridge is 3,31 m, while the lifting height is 10 m.
The working movements of the crane: driving the bridge and suspended trolleys and lifting/lowering the load are performed manually using suspended control chains.
The main girder of the crane is 3,06 m long and is manufactured from NPI profiles, and is gripped by the end carriages which are manufactured from square section pipes.
A single-girder bridge crane consists of:
- steel structure, consisting of:
- main girder manufactured from HEA profile,
- end carriagesmanufactured from NPU profiles,
- shafts with suspended chain for driving the crane along the crane tracks,
- hoist with suspended control chains.
At the ends of the crane tracks, steel stoppers are placed as safety against the crane falling off the tracks and rubber bumpers are against stiff impact into the obstacle. In the same way, the movement of the suspended trolleys along the main girder of the crane is limited.
