TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of investors, the company Končar - MES JSC., a project of a suspended single-girder bridge crane was made.

 

The maximum load capacity of the cranes is 500 kg, the span of the crane bridge is 3,74 m, and the maximum lifting height of the crane is 2,9 m. The crane is mounted on the crane tracks of the test station in the company's production hall in Zagreb.

 

All working movements of the crane: driving the bridge, driving the hoist and lifting/lowering the load are performed in two speeds, using a frequency converter, and they are controlled by a suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage.

 

Single-girder bridge cranes consist of:

  • steel structure, consisting of:
    • the main crane girder produced from the IPE profile,
    • end carriages manufactured from NPU profiles,
  • hoist with a load capacity of 500 kg,
  • electrical equipment.

 

The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:

  • electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
  • electric motor with brake for driving a hoist,
  • electric motor with brake for driving a bridge,
  • control cabinet,
  • limit switches for switching off the lift drive, the hoist drive and the bridge drive,
  • suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage,
  • main switches, and
  • power and control cables within the crane itself.

 

At the ends of the crane tracks, rubber bumpers were installed as safety against the crane falling off the tracks. In the same way, the movement of the driving hoist along the main crane girder is limited.
