TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of the investor, INA oil industry JSC, a project of a single-girder bridge crane with manual chain drive in anti-explosive (Ex) design was made. The maximum load capacity of the crane is 5 t, the bridge span is 7,22 m, and the maximum lift height is 3,84 m. The equipment on the crane is made of materials that do not cause sparks in contact with each other. The crane was mounted on the existing crane tracks in KS Stružec in Stružec.

All working movements of the crane: driving the bridge, driving the hoist and lifting and lowering the load are manually operated.

The crane is operated from the floor, using control chains for each individual drive.

A single-girder bridge crane consists of:

• steel structure, consisting of:
  • main girder manufactured from HEA profile,
  • end carriages,
  • shaft with suspended chain for driving the crane along the crane track,
• a winch whose lifting and driving drive is performed manually by means of two control chains.
