TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
For the needs of investor, company Pomak Ltd., a project of a manual hanging bridge crane was made, and it was manufactured and installed in the pumping station Veprijak on the island of Korčula. The maximum load capacity of the crane is 2 t, and the span of the bridge is 5,4 m, while the lifting height is 2,85 m.
The working movements of the crane: driving the bridge and suspended trolleys are performed manually using suspended chains, while lifting/lowering the load is performed on an electric motor drive.
The lifting or lowering process is performed from the floor using a suspended control button with reduced voltage.
A single-girder bridge crane consists of:
- steel structure, consisting of:
- main girder manufactured from HEA profile,
- end carriages manufactured from NPU profiles,
- shafts with suspended chain for driving the crane along the crane tracks,
- electrically operated hoist.
