TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of the investor, the company Duing Ltd., a project of a column jib crane was made. The maximum load capacity of the crane is 3,2 t, and the reach of the hook from the axis of rotation is 3,5 m, while the lifting height is 3,24 m. The crane is mounted in the production hall of the company.

 

The column jib crane is used for lifting and handling loads. All working movements of the column cantilever crane: lifting/lowering the load, driving the hoist along the console and rotating the console are electrically driven and have control via a frequency regulator.

 

The crane is operated from the floor by means of a suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage.

 

The bottom of the column is gripped by a reinforced concrete floor over a flange plate and anchor bolts.

 

Column jib crane consists of:

• steel structure, consisting of:
  • column, consisting of a steel column of circular cross-section and a base plate,
  • console made of IPE profile,
• hoist,
• electrical equipment.

 

The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:

• electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
• electric motor for driving the hoist,
• electric motor for rotation of the console,
• switch cabinet for crane control,
• suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage,
• main switches, and
• power and control cables within the crane itself.
