TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of the investor, the company Okiroto Ltd., a project of a column jib crane with a nominal load capacity of 2 t, a hook reach from the axis of rotation of 4,5 m and a lifting height of 5,2 m was made. The crane was installed in the investor's production hall in Pregrada. The purpose of the crane is to manipulate the load during the production process.

As a lifting mechanism, an electric chain drive hoist manufactured by "KITO" Japan with an electric motor drive for lifting and driving suspension trolley is installed. The lifting drive is two-speed, controlled via a frequency converter, and the trolley drive is performed in one speed.

The electric chain hoist is controlled from the floor by means of a suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage, while the rotation of the console is performed by pulling or pushing the load or hook.

The steel construction of the crane consists of:

• column,
• console, on which the hoist is located.

The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:

• electrical cabinets,
• electric driving hoist for lifting loads,
• suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage,
• main switches, and
• power and control cables within the crane itself.
