TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of investor, P.P.C. Buzet Ltd., a project of a column jib crane was made. The maximum load capacity of the crane is 250 kg, and the reach of the hook from the axis of rotation is 2 m, while the lifting height is 2,7 m. The crane is mounted in the production hall of the company P.P.C. Buzet Ltd.

The column jib crane is used for lifting and handling loads. Lifting and lowering the load and driving the hoist along the console is electrically driven and is controlled via a frequency regulator, while the rotation of the console is performed manually by pulling the hook or suspended load.

The crane is operated from the floor by a suspended control unit with reduced voltage. The bottom of the pillar is gripped by a reinforced concrete base over a flange plate and anchor bolts.

Column jib crane consists of:

• steel structure, consisting of:
  • column, consisting of a steel column of square cross-section and a base plate,
  • console made of NPI profile,
• hoist,
• electrical equipment.

The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:

• electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
• electric motors to drive the hoist,
• cabinet for crane control,
• suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage,
• main switches and
• power and control cables within the crane itself.
