TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of investor, Saipem S.p.A. Croatian Branch, a project of a column jib crane with a nominal load capacity of 500 kg, a hook reach of the axis of rotation of 5,5 m and a lifting height of 4 m was performed. The crane was installed in the production hall of the investor in Rijeka. The purpose of the crane is to manipulate the load during the production process.

 

The working movement of lifting and lowering the load and driving the hoist along the console is electrically driven, and the rotation of the console is manually operated.

 

The bottom of the crane column is accepted, via a flange plate and anchor bolts, for a reinforced concrete base, and the top of the column is welded to the metal structure of the hall.

 

The crane is operated from the floor by means of a suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage and by pulling/pushing the load or hook.

 

The steel construction of the crane consists of:

• column, and
• console, on which the hoist is located.

 

The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:

• electrical cabinets,
• electric driving hoist for lifting loads,
• suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage,
• main switches, and
• power and control cables within the crane itself.
