TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of investor, Mandić metal turning shop, a project for the installation of a wall jib crane was made. The maximum load capacity of the crane is 250 kg, and the reach of the hook from the axis of rotation is 4 m. The crane is mounted on the existing reinforced concrete column 450 x 450 mm, in the production premises of the metal turning shop.

Wall mounted jib cranes are used for lifting and handling loads. The lifting and lowering of the load is electrically driven and is controlled by a frequency converter, while the hoist is driven along the console and the console is rotated manually by pulling the hook or suspended load.

The crane is operated from the floor by means of a suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage.

The wall mounted jib crane consists of:

• steel structure, consisting of:
  • console made of IPE profile,
  • embeded construction around concrete column,
• hoist,
• electrical equipment.

The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:

• electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
• suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage,
• main switches, and
• power and control cables.
