TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of the investor, the company MCZ Ltd., a project of two wall mounted jib cranes was made. The maximum load capacity of both cranes is 250 kg, and the hook reach from the axis of rotation is 3,5 m and 4 m. The lifting height of both wall jib cranes is 3 m. The cranes are mounted on existing steel columns made of HEA 240 profiles in the production hall of the company.

Wall mounted jib cranes are used for lifting and handling loads. Lifting and lowering the load is on an electric motor drive with frequency control, while the hoist is driven along the console and the rotation of the console is performed manually by pulling the hook or suspended load.

The cranes are controlled from the floor using a radio remote control, and as a backup control, suspended cable control units with reduced voltage are installed.

The wall mounted jib crane consists of:

• steel structure, consisting of:
  • console made of NPI profile,
  • wall mounted construction made of NPU profiles,
• hoist,
• electrical equipment.

The electrical equipment of each wall mounted jib crane consists of:

• electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
• electric motor with brake for hoist travel,
• suspended cable cable control unit with reduced voltage,
• main switches, and
• power and control cables.
