TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of the investor, the company Spiroflex Ltd., a project of a wall cantilever crane was made. The maximum load capacity of the crane is 1 t, and the reach of the hook from the axis of rotation is 3,9 m. The crane is mounted on an existing concrete pillar measuring 500 x 300 mm, in the production hall of the company.

The wall mounted jib crane is used for lifting and handling loads. Lifting and lowering the load and driving the hoist along the console is electrically driven, while the rotation of the console is performed manually by pulling the hook or suspended load.

The crane is operated from the floor by means of a suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage.

The wall mounted jib crane consists of:

• steel structure, consisting of:
  • console made of IPE profile,
  • bearings consisting of two box brackets manufactured from NPU profiles,
• hoist,
• electrical equipment.

The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:

• electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
• electric motor with brake for hoist travel,
• switch cabinet for crane control,
• suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage,
• main switches, and
• power and control cables within the crane itself.
