TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of investor, company Loveco Ltd., a monorail crane with manual chain MD 1 t / 8,15 m drive was designed, manufactured and installed. The maximum load capacity of the manual chain hoist is 1 t, the length of the monorail track is 8,15 m, and the maximum lift height is 5 m. The crane is classified in I. operating class.

The crane is mounted as part of the "Roč" wastewater treatment plant.

The load lifting/lowering drive is performed manually by means of a suspension control chain, while the hoist travel drive along the monorail track is also performed manually by pulling the load-bearing hook or load.

The basic parts of the steel structure of a monorail crane are as follows:

• flat monorail track NPI 180 x 8,15 m,
• two steel frames for hanging the monorail track,
• a pillar on hoist the inner end of the path rests.

The manual chain hoist for lifting/lowering loads is equipped with a suitable brake, which holds the load at the desired height. At the ends of the monorail track, steel bumpers have been installed as a safety against crane falling off the track.
