TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the investor, company  Plamen Ltd., a monorail crane was made which was mounted in the production plant of the company. The monorail track is 5,2 m long, which is made of HEA profiles, and is supported on one side by a load-bearing column, and on the other side is suspended on a load-bearing frame girder. An electric chain crane with a load capacity of 2 t was installed as a lifting mechanism.

The control of the lifting/lowering drive, as well as the driving of the hoist is performed with an electric driving hoist which has a suspended control unit with reduced voltage.

The electrical equipment of the monorail crane consists of:

• electric motor with brake for lifting and lowering the load,
• electric motor with brake for drive of hoist,
• suspended control unit with reduced voltage,
• main switches,
• power and control cables.
