PROJECT NAME: Double girder bridge crane DMD 20 t / 15,7 m
INVESTOR: Adria winch Ltd.
LOCATION: Split
YEAR OF PRODUCTION: 2014.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- maximum crane capacity: 20 t
- bridge span: 15,7 m
- maximum lifting height: 7,05 m
- load lifting speed (frequency reg.): 2,5/0,42 m/min
- hoist travel speed (frequency reg.): 25/6,3 m/min
- bridge travel speed (frequency reg.): 25/6,2 m/min
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
For the needs of investor, Adria winch Ltd., a project for the installation of a two-girder bridge crane with a maximum load capacity of 20 t, a bridge span of 15,7 m and a lifting height of 7,05 m was made. The crane was installed in the production hall of company Adria winch Ltd. in Split. All working movements of the crane: driving the bridge, driving the hoist and lifting/lowering the load are driven by electric motor drives controlled via frequency converters.
The crane is driven on crane tracks that were previously used to drive two two-girder bridge cranes with a load capacity of 20 t (SPB - INŽENJERING Ltd.) and 5 t (MOSTOVNA Ltd.).
In accordance with the technological needs of production, the terms of reference set a requirement that cranes can work in pairs if necessary, in order to be able to lift and transport loads with a total weight of up to 40 t. For this reason, the crane was designed with identical technical characteristics as the existing double-girder bridge crane DMD 20t / 15,7m, which was designed, manufactured and installed in 2012.
Given the conditions and frequency of operation, the crane is classified in II. operating class according to HRN M.D1.020, which approximately corresponds to group M5 according to ISO 4301/1 (or group 2m according to FEM 1.001), for mechanisms.
The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:
- electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
- two electric motors for driving a hoist,
- two electric motors for driving the bridge,
- control cabinet,
- remote radio control (MASTER-SLAVE option of remote transmitters),
- suspended control button with reduced voltage (reserve),
- main switches,
- safety devices (limit switches and sensors), and
- power and control cables within the crane itself.
