TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
For the needs of investor, Ing-grad Ltd., a project for the installation of a two-girder bridge crane was made. The maximum capacity of the crane is 30 t, the span of the bridge is 12,5 m, while the lifting height is 9 m. The crane is mounted on the crane tracks in the building of the underground gas storage - Okoli.
All working movements of the crane: driving the bridge, driving the hoist, and lifting / lowering the load, are electrically driven and in two speeds. The crane is operated from the floor using a low voltage radio remote control unit.
The steel structure of the two-girder bridge crane basically consists of two main girders which are bolted to two side girders.
The main girders of the double-girder bridge crane are designed as box girders with a total length of 12680 mm. The inner stiffeners of the main girder are made of 6 mm sheets and are welded at 750 mm spacing. The stiffeners are not welded to the lower (tensile) belt plate. At the ends of the main girders, flange plates abutting the side girders are welded to the lower belt plate.
A rectangular rail is welded to the upper belt plate of both main girders, which is used to drive a 30 t load hoist. The rails are welded along the inner edge of the upper belt plate, ie in the bisector of the side plate of the main girder. At the ends of the rails, rigid bumpers are welded, which serve to limit the movement of the hoist.
An electric motorized rope hoist consisting of an electric rope hoist and electrically driven trolleys is installed as a lifting mechanism on the bridge crane.
The electric rope hoist for lifting / lowering the load is equipped with a suitable brake, which holds the load at the desired height when the lift / lower load button is pressed or in the event of a power failure.
The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:
- electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
- two electric motors with a brake for driving a hoist,
- two electric motors with brakes for driving the bridge,
- control cabinet,
- limit switches for switching off the lift drive, hoist drive and bridge drive,
- low voltage remote radio control,
- suspended control button with reduced voltage (reserve),
- main switches, and
- power and control cables within the crane itself.
All installed equipment meets the standards for operation in Ex II 3G IIB T3 atmosphere.
