TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of the investor, the company Feromihin Ltd., a project of a single-girder bridge crane was made, and the same was produced and installed. The maximum load capacity of the crane is 10 t, and the bridge span is 15 m, while the lifting height is 8,719 m. The crane is mounted on a crane tracks 2 x 37 m long in the production hall of the investor.

All working movements of the crane, namely: driving the bridge, driving the hoist and lifting and lowering the load, are electrically driven and in two speeds, and the working movement of the driving drive of the bridge is controlled by a frequency converter to reduce dynamic shocks when starting and stopping the crane and extended the service life of the brakes.

The crane is operated from the floor by means of a suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage.

The single-girder bridge crane consists of:

  • steel structure, consisting of:
    • main girder made as a box bracket measuring 850 x 350 mm,
    • end carriages manufactured by MISIA, Italy, type: SG2525,
  • electric hoist manufactured by MISIA, Italy, type: XM525NS4H10A / 83, and
  • electrical equipment.

The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:

  • electric motor with brake for lifting drive,
  • two electric motors with brake for driving a hoist,
  • two electric motors with a bridge brake,
  • control cabinet,
  • limit switches for switching off the lift / lower drive, the hoist drive and the bridge drive,
  • suspended cable control unit with reduced voltage,
  • main switches, and
  • power and control cables within the crane itself.

The movement of the hoist along the main girder is limited by the limit switch to switch off the drive when the hoist is at the end of the main girder, before the rigid bumpers, and allows the direction of movement only in the opposite direction.

Rigid bumpers are installed at the ends of the main girder to prevent the hoist from falling out of the main crane girder.

The movement of the crane along the crane tracks is limited by the end cross switch, which excludes the higher speed of the bridge when approaching the first trigger, and after encountering the second trigger switches off the drive of the bridge and can only move in the opposite direction.

At the ends of the crane tracks, rigid bumpers have been installed as a safety against the crane falling off the track.

The control button has a red emergency stop button (mushroom-shaped) that switches off all crane drives.
