TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the needs of investor, company Inero Ltd., we designed, manufactured, mounted, tested and put into operation single-girder bridge crane. Maximum load of crane is 5 t, bridge span 7,8 m, while the lift height is 5,668 m. Crane is mounted in the substation „Sućidar“ in the city of Split.

 

All working movements of the crane: driving the bridge, driving the hanged hoist and lifting / lowering the load, are electrically driven. All drives are two-speed, where the load lifting / lowering drive and the hoist drive are controlled via a reley, while the bridge drive is frequently controlled to ensure a smooth start, a smooth transition between speeds and a soft stop without dynamic shocks.

 

The crane is operated from the floor by means of a suspension control unit with reduced voltage.

 

The crane belongs to the operating class A3 according to the standard HRN ISO 4301-5.

 

The single-girder bridge crane consists of:

  • steel structure, consisting of:
    • main girder manufactured from IPE 500 profile,
    • end carriages,
  • electric driving hoist, and
  • electrical equipment.

 

A single-girder electric motor rope hoist consisting of an electric rope hoist and electric suspension trolleys manufactured by "MISIA PARANCHI S.R.L." Italy, type: XM312VS4H7 / 83, was installed as a lifting mechanism.

 

The drive of the bridge was performed with two independent gear motors manufactured by "MISIA PARANCHI S.R.L." Italy, which are installed on the side girders "MISIA PARANCHI S.R.L." Italy, type designations: SG1620-40-6,3.

 

The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:

  • electric motor of the lifting mechanism with brake,
  • electric motors with brakes for driving a hoist,
  • two electric motors with brakes for driving the bridge,
  • control cabinet,
  • limit switches for switching off the lift / lower drive, the hoist drive and the bridge drive,
  • suspension cable control unit with reduced voltage,
  • main switches, and
  • power and control cables within the crane itself.

 

The movement of the hoist along the main girder is limited by a lever switch that stops the hoist before encountering a rigid steel bumper at the end of the main girder.

 

At the ends of the main girder, rigid bumpers are installed as a safety against the fall of the hoist from the main girder of the crane.

 

The movement of the crane along the crane tracks is limited by the end cross switch in the first stage excludes higher speed, and in the second stops the bridge before encountering a rigid steel bumper at the end of the crane tracks.

 

At the ends of the crane tracks, rigid bumpers have been installed as a safety against the crane falling off the track.

 

The control unit has a red emergency stop button (mushroom-shaped) which switches off all crane drives.
