TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
For the needs of investor, company Mick Ltd., a single-girder bridge crane was designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned. The maximum load capacity of the crane is 2x3 t, span of the bridge is 13,7 m, while the lifting height is 4,9 m. The crane is mounted in the storage hall of the company Mick Ltd. in Kukuljanovo.
The crane is used for manipulation of steel profiles and their weighing. The crane has two driving hoists, each with a load capacity of 3 t, a magnetic beam for receiving cargo and a device for weighing cargo.
The crane hoists should work in pairs and they need to be connected by a mechanical connection. The movements of the crane should be four-speed, the movements of the crane hoists should be single-speed and the lifting of the load should be two-speed.
The crane is operated from the floor using a low-voltage radio control, and in the event that it fails, there is also a suspended cable pendant control station.
The single-girder bridge crane consists of:
- steel structure, consisting of:
- the main girder made as a box girder,
- end carriages,
- two electric hoists,
- magnetic beam, and
- electric equipment.
The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:
- two electric motors of the lifting mechanism with brakes,
- two electric motors to drive the bridge,
- four electric motors for driving a hoists,
- crane control cabinet,
- electromagnet control cabinet,
- cabinets with battery cells for electromagnets,
- load control cabinet,
- radio remote control (transmitter),
- radio remote control,
- cable pendant control station,
- main switches, and
- power and control cables within the crane itself.
At the ends of the crane tracks, steel bumpers were installed as safety against the crane falling off the tracks. In the same way, the movement of the driving hoists along the main crane girder is limited.
