TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
For the needs of the investor, Brodomehanika, we designed, manufactured, assembled, tested and put into operation a column jib crane with a nominal load capacity of 16 t, max. reaching the hook from the axis of rotation 5,5 m and lifting height 9,7 m. The crane is mounted on the foundations on the shore of Brodomehanika in Crikvenica. The purpose of the crane is to lifting / lowering the vessels from / into the sea and place it on a transport trolley, vehicle or deck chair.
Due to the conditions and frequency of operation, the crane is classified in the I. operating class.
All working movements of the crane, namely: lifting/lowering the load, driving the hoist along the console as well as the rotation of the console, are electrically driven.
The steel construction of the jib crane basically consists of:
- load-bearing column,
- console, and
- service platforms with climbers.
An electric driven motor hoist consisting of electrically driven trolleys and an electric hoist is installed as a lifting mechanism. The electric driven hoist is manufactured by "MISIA PARANCHI S.R.L." Milan, Italy, type: XM740NS4H9.5A / 3A.
The electrical equipment of the crane consists of:
- planetary gear motor, for crane console rotation drive,
- electric hoist for lifting loads,
- rotary switch,
- control cabinet,
- radio remote control unit and cable control unit,
- main switches, and
- power and control cables within the crane itself.
Along with the SKD-RM 16 t / 5,5 m column jib crane, a cross spreader hanging on a hook was also delivered. Two polyester straps are hung on four-points on the cross spreader and are used to cover the hull of a ship rising or lowering into the sea. The load capacity of the cross spreader should be equivalent to the load capacity of the crane itself.
