TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

For the investor, company KD Vodovod i kanalizacija Ltd., a monorail crane was made, which was mounted in PS Zastenice on Grobnik and is used for dismantling two pumps. Above each pump, monorail tracks have been installed which allow the pumps to be brought to the entrance door of the pumping station. Monorail tracks 4 m and 3,5 m long are anchored to the reinforced concrete slab of the pumping station. Each monorail track is equipped with 500 kg suspension trolley for driving pumps along the tracks. As a lifting mechanism, a manual chain hoist with a load capacity of 500 kg is installed, which can be transferred from one trolley to another if necessary.

The lifting/lowering drive is controlled manually, ie by pulling the control chain, while the trolley drive along the monorail tracks is also controlled manually, ie by pulling or pushing the hook or load.

The steel construction of the monorail crane consists of two straight monorail tracks: NPI 140 x 4 m and NPI 140 x 3,5 m.

As a lifting mechanism, a hand chain hoist manufactured by "KITO" Japan, type: CB005. The manual chain hoist can, if necessary, be suspended from one or the other trolley, which allows the crane to be driven along monorail tracks.
